wants to stall out when i stop

My 2004 Nissan doesn't idle good, also i hear a clanging noise when i take off fron a stop, and its takes a bit to get top 35 miles per hour

doesnt idle good, when at a stop it will die. at take off it make s clanging sound and takes awhile to get to 35 miles per hr

Check for vacuum leaks and check the idle air control valve.
