Nothing happens when I turn key. What is wrong???

2004 Nissan Titan won't start when I turn the key nothing happens. Lights don't turn on, radio doesn't turn on, and you cant shift gears. What is wrong???

Check the battery condition and terminal connections. Clean and retighten the terminals and retest.
