engine oil

i just change my engine oil i checked the dip stick and its little bit obove the H levil.i want to know if i maybe over filled it?if so how to fix and what can go wrong if i dont

Simple, drain it and make sure its on proper level at cold condition

If the level is only slightly over the line, it is ok but if it is too much, draining some out would be the thing to do.

To high level would result in the crankshsft churning against the oil resulting in loss of accelerating power.
