I cant get my car to go in reverse

First thing to do is ensure that the selector at the transmission is actually selecting reverse position, and when you select reverse is there any transmission reaction at all, if the transmission is selecting and there is no reaction, you will probably have an internal problem that will require the transmission to be dismantled and inspected.
