While driving, when I slam on the brake the speakers on the driver's side will become disabled if both sides are currently playing, or vice versa if only the passenger's side is playing. It's only happen to the CD player, the radio is not affected. Do you have any idea what the problem is? It's really annoying me. Thanks in advance for your help.

Since it only affects the CD, that should be the problem. Excessive shocks or abrupt movement can affect CD player quality.
