rpm will not go pass 2500

2004 NISSAN ARMADA

When I step on the gas pedal my rpm will not go pass 2500 and car starts to hesitate. To pick up speed I cleaned the throttle body and took my car to the Nissan dealership for the ECM relay recall.

Scan for codes and check fuel pressure with a gauge auto parts rent it it may be a sensor bad, vacuum leak or low fuel pressure. See link.

This is applicable even if your check engine light is not on.

Most scanners are inexpensive to purchase, you can purchase one online from sites like Amazon.com
