I started smelling a burning smell coming through the vents when he was on for about 3 days but checked the fluids but didn't notice anything unusual. I then came to a stop at a stop sign while driving in D and when I gave the car gas the motor didn't rev and and moved as if it was just idling. When I placed the car back in neutral and gave it gas the motor reved fine. Any ideas??

I pulled into a parking lot because I was too far from home to go 5 mph home so I had it towed but while waiting on my ride the vehicle died and acted like battery was dead

OK, check that the charging circuit is ok and the battery is fully charged and re start engine n run scan and report any set fault codes for further assistance.
