I have a nissan almera 2004,it has developed a knock on the right hand front,could you please tell me what to look for ?

Most common knocking noise are from bad suspension control arm bushes, steering linkages, stabilizer components and struts. Different component would emit different noise symptoms.

Hi KH,
Thank you for your response,I have had my brother-in-law,who knows a bit about cars to check,nothing.He was thinking along the lines of a lesser known problem, not the standard faults.

Nissan vehicles does not have a good reputation with arm bushes.

How does the knocking sound like?

hi i have the exact same noise on my almera. the knocking noise comes each time i go over bumps in the road. could it be my control arm bushes? your help will be appreciated. thanx
