How do you replace the thermostat... where is its location? Also do you have to take rad and cooling fan out to get access to the alt. Belts?

Thermostat is at housing connected by the uper radiator hose, at engine side. You drain the coolant and remove the housing to get at the thermostat.

For removing the alternator belt, you would need to loosen the adjusting screw and its holding bolt to release the tension on the belt for removal/installation.
