2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor Making Noise Lifters Area Checked Oil Level Which

my Endeavor is making noise from the lifters area and when I checked the oil level, which shows an adequate oil level. A visual check in oil filler cap showed no oil splatter after driving vehicle home. Which could the problem be; oil pump or clogged oil ports; or whatever

Could be the valve lifters itself-Check the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge this will finger the oil pump-start here
