About the only way to find small leaks is by injecting smoke from a smoke machine. It's white non-toxic smoke at 2 psi. You inject it anywhere in the evaporative emission recovery system, then watch for where it sneaks out. Look for loose hose clamps, dry-rotted or cracked hoses, leaking purge valves, etc.
