Cust towed car in, died after start-up. Found blown fuse #24 in interior fuse block. Replaced, blew again as soon as key was cycled. #24 fuse is 10A mini fuse for ignition coil. Cust just had new plugs and at least 1 new coil installed at another shop. Any clues where to start?

Unplug all of the ignition coils (mark the connections so as not to get the wires mixed up).
Place a new fuse in the #24 slot, cycle the ignition switch on and then off.
Check the fuse to see if it is blown.
If so, check the ignition coil wires from each connector to the main wiring harness. Look for any pinched, frayed or grounded wires.

If not, connect one coil, cycle the ignition switch on and then off. Check to see if the fuse is blown. The faulty coil is the one that blows the fuse.
