Steering wheel is shaking and pulls to the right... What could be the problem???

My truck does need new tires... Could the new tires and an alignment solve the problem of a shaking steering wheel?

Very possibly. It could also be loose suspension or steering components, which should be discovered prior to the tech commencing the alignment.
