where is the crankshaft position sensor located

im replacing the old sensor with a new one.

The sensor is tucked down on the drivers side of the the car on the back right where the transmission connects to the engine, to get to it, use a flashlight and remove the Mercedes Benz plastic engine cover, you will see some wires, fuel line and vaccumm hoses, look down below those, you will see a single wire going into The Crankshaft position sensor with a release tab on top to release the wire, to replace the sensor you will need an inverted torx socket to do so, (some auto parts stores rent those sockets for free with a depsoit) remove the single bolt, pull the sensor straight out replace it and put it all back together and you're done.
