has no response from the accelerator

2004 C230 Engine turns on but when accelerator is pressed, there is no engine response. Engine starts, but when accelerator is pressed no engine response. No crank sound too.
Will this be the trim sensor?
Please help!

Sorry, the message is wrong: C230 Has No Response From The Accelerator. Engine Turns On But When Accelarator Is Pressed, There's NO Engine Response.
