Did it run before you changed those parts? It sounds like the firing order is not correct. It should be like this. Check out the diagrams (Below). Please let us know what happens.

Sorry the links aren't working. The firing order is the passenger side from front to back is 1, 3, 5 and on the drivers side from front to back is 2, 4, 6 match the cylinder numbers up to the numbers on the coil.

The coil doesn't have the numbers on it. I've seen four different orders for the same truck so I'm not sure what that order would be on the coil

Ok, on the left side of the coil from front to back the order is 1, 2, 3. On the right side of the coil front the front to back the order is 5, 6, 4. According to all of my information systems this is the only firing order for the vin u 3.0 for that year. Please let me know how this works out for you.

If it ran before the tune up, and now the firing order is correct maybe you got a defective coil. Do you still have the old coil?It did run before right? Try the old coil back on the truck and see if it starts.

Have you unplugged the coil and checked to make sure that none of the terminals are bent or broken? Also check for any loose wires in the plug.
