All others work.
Rear Hatch opens okay.
Rear Glass opens okay.
Power locks will not work.
I hear the clicking on the VSM when the buttons are pressed.
Key bob unlock and lock not working however if I press the lock button a few times the horn will sound. Wont lock just honk the horn like its locked.
I checked the fuses and relays that pertain to the devices.
I checked the voltage from the drivers window switch I get 14v and -14 when I press the button down and up. So I thought the motor was bad. I replaced it and nothing same issue.
I checked the grounds behind the kick plate by the fuse box and they look good like new.
no water leaks/damage of any sort.
please help

Hello,

It sounds like the vehicle security module is out. to be sure here is a guide and the door lock wiring diagrams so you can test the connection to confirm the issue, also I have included the VSC location as well.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-wiring

Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.

I tested the drivers power lock switch using a jumper on the lock and unlock wires. I could hear the VSM clicking. All windows except the drivers function correctly. Crazy part is that every now and then the drivers door will unlock from the key fob or the master entry buttons. Most of the time it will not function.

Yep, sounds like the VSM is out. I would try a new one to see what happens. You can try a CAN scan as well. here is a video to help confirm the failure. you can get a CAN scanner from amazon for about $40.00.

Please run down this guide and report back.

The VSM is located on the passenger side under the dash. Here are the instructions on how to change it out. No part number, you will need to call the dealer for this part. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what happens.

Thanks. Okay, I found the VSM "Ford (4L1Z-15604-AD)".
Do I use a CAN scanner to download the codes from the ODBII port?

Okay, I scanned the vehicle using FORSCAN software.

At some time in the past a corrupt message was received from the PCM. Try clearing the DTC to see if this DTC re occurs. If it does then carefully check the SCP wiring and run the PCM diagnostic.

Run self test.

Fix all relevant DTCs then clear codes and retest.

Note:

DTCs that start with 'U' are faults which occur during module-to-module communication.

Modules should never be replaced based only on a 'U' code. These codes do not always indicate a problem, and can be caused by normal diagnostic functions, carried out on the vehicle.

Fix all relevant DTCs then clear codes and retest.

I just got the extended lic for the FORSCAN software. This will let me see into the PATS and other modules that were restricted before. I will post those scan results when I get home from work.

So no joy. The ELM327 adapter can't seem to read the UBP bus where the VSM among other things live. I confirmed that by scanning my 2005 Mustang and it found everything.

So many voltages out of range. is the battery okay? Here is a guide to check the battery:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/car-battery-load-test

Is this the only thing you see wrong with the car? Drivers side window and locks not working?

Please run down this guide and report back.

There is an accessory delay relay I would check. here are the wiring diagrams for the windows so you can see how the system works and the relay location so you can test it.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-an-electrical-relay-and-wiring-control-circuit

Check out the diagrams (below). Please run this test and get back to us.

Good question on the voltage to the VSM. Would you happen to have the wiring layout so I could test that?
