2004 lexas rx330 intermediate shaft speed sensor A. where is it located and how to troubleshoot?

It is located on the exterior of the transaxle. You will have one of two sensors, one is asian made the other toyota. To check it, you need to check ohms. I have attached pictures of the plugs and the specifications that the ohms should be within.

If you are out of range with ohms, replace the sensor. If it is within spec, check wiring for damage, corrosion...
