procedures when replacing a battery?

Hi. Are there any special procedures when replacing a battery in a Lexus is200 2004 petrol. I had left the car for 6 weeks and it has gone flat. Cheers steve

charge the battery sloly and then check for a draw AFTER it is charged up and the car is running. Make sure you clean terminals on battery too.
