sedona oil sump leak

i have a oil leak from oil sump can you patch it or does it need replaced if so is it a hard job do my self i have a kia sedona 2004 2.9 diesel

Is oil leak in pan ? as in hole/crack

yes its a small crack

Get it real clean and sand down area. Use side of file to cut grove in crack. Then apply JB Weld let set 24 hrs.
