I think I accidentally put transmission fluid in the coolant part of the car. Will that mess up the car? If it does, how bad will it be? And how hard is it to drain?

I drove the car after I put it in there and the after I put it in there the car wasn't running right. The second time though it ran normally.

Also, I don't know what or where the coolant recovery tank is.
