Had MAF sensor replaced two years ago. Code is back. What is the most likely cause? Could the sensor be bad again? Definition says that Throttle sensor might be bad ? I have cleared the codes and driven for quite a while and the then the code came back. Trying to get it to pass an emissions test.

This code can be triggered by the following.

Dirty air cleaner.
Oil cap or dipstick not installed correctly.
Air leak in intake system.
Contact resistance in connectors.
Faulty MAFS or TPS

Start with a check on the connectors. Ensure the pins are clean and tight.
