2004 Kia Optima Put New Battrey Altenator Battery Light Still On Holding

Put a new battrey and altenator in and the battery light is still on. It is not holding a charge. We have to keep putting the battery on a charger. Do you know what the problem could be??

It sounds like you have a bad fuseable link. It takes the power from the alt to the battery to charge it. If it is bad, the alt can not charge the battery,
