car sputtering

My 2004 kia optima le sputters when it is wet outside. I have already replaced the plugs and wires. It stops after being driven for awhile. speedometer also quit working.

The transmission is computerized and can not work properly if the speedometer does not work

Apply gear oil sparingly to the speedometer driven gear shaft and insert the shaft.
Install the spring pin in such a way the slit does not face the gear shaft.
