stalls when put into reverse. going forward chokes & jerks sometimes to the point of a completer stall. transmission replaced & control valve in new transmission unstuck

If the check engine light is on, have the computer scanned to identify trouble codes. Most parts stores will do it for free. Also, check for vacuum leaks and check the idle air control valve.
