My 2004 jeep grand Cherokee has a squeak/squealing noise coming from the right front end. It only makes this noise when I am going over 15mph. The noise disappears when it is raining. The shop told me that it was the brakes and they replaced all the brake pads, calipers, and service the slides. They also replaced the rear wheel bearing, but the noise is the same if not worse. What could the problem be. I have also tried lubricating the serpentine belt.

Is there anything which causes the noise to change such as turning? Is the sound consistent with vehicle speed (in other words, does is change as you speed up and slow down)? Has anyone checked to make sure the backing plate isn't touching the rear of the brake rotor due to damage, rust.

I felt like at one time turning sometimes stopped the squeaking while at other times it made the squeaking stop, but nothing seems to make a difference now.

It could even be a wheel bearing.
