2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Change Water Pump Get Spanner Wrench Center

I need to change the water pump, I have to get a spanner wrench, center to center holes on water pump are 21/4 inches does that sound right, its a 6 cylinder 4 litre, thank you Declan.

check with an auto parts they may have the wrench for rental

I checked all no wrench for rent, is that the proper tool for this job, thank you Declan

funny, I just looked at the instructions for a 4.0L and there are the only special tools are the pliers for the clamp. it didnt' say anything about a spanner wrench, you probably will ned a large wrench to remove the fan but that is about it. otherwise it's a straight up removal. I can't copy instructions for it so I can't send them on. One thing though make sure it's the correct pump as this operates reverse o f other units and your vehicle will overheat
