2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Maxed out temperture gauge

I changed my thermostat and temperature sensor because when I ran AC the temperature gauge would max out a 260 degrees, it would take approximately 45 minutes to max out, now the same issue still exist after changing the two items. Can you please tell me what the problem is, thank you and God bless.

check fuses 16 &10 under hood and fuse 10 in junction box. then check high and low speed fan relays under hood switch with a like relay that you know works or go to our site under how to repair electrical how to check a relay. then have it scanned as it may have a bad hydraulic module in it.
