I have a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 55400 miles on it and a couple of days ago the driver door lock actuator quit working and now tonight when I got out of the car and locked the doors with the remote, the dome light has stayed on. What could be causing this?

Check the interior light switch on the door. Chances are it is sticking or damaged.

Let me know what you find.

The dome lights stay on while driving and the door locks, power mirrors, cruise control, power windows and security system doesn't work and I would like to know where to start checked the fuses and they are fine just need a start point.
