2004 Jaguar Xj8 Car Will Start Turnover Radio Instrument Panel Power

car will not start... it will not turnover...radio, instrument panel power up, it started when I backed out the garage ...I put it drive then it shut down. I checked the battery and fuses.

first, check the battery voltage. should be 12.6 volts. it may not have enough to fire it up. make sure you have the alternator output checked as well. should be 14 to 14.5 volts running

Turn over? meaning it will not crank or will not run and idle? just want to get the terminology correct first. if cranking and not starting, check spark and fuel pressure as well.
