2004 Jaguar X Type Hi Last Night Headlights Full Beam Failed Although Flash

Hi, last night my headlights and full beam failed, although i can flash full beam. side lights and all other lights seem ok. any ideas? many thanks

Check high beam relay is ok, and then switch is ok, out of interest does the high beam indicator come on when you select high beam with switch and or pull to flash?
