JAG S TYPE NEW BATTERY FITTED. WHEN ATTEMPTING TO START YOU HEAR THE RELAY UNDER THE BONNET PULL IN. ALSO YOU HEAR THE SOLENOID PULL IN ON THE STARTER BUT THE ENGINE WILL NOT TURN OVER PLEASE HELP

the armature may be bad for the starter motor.

does the engine turn?? was there any issue prior to this??
