My mechanic recently replaced my alternator but the warning light will not go out. Battery was purchased new in May. Also, reverse sensors stopped working; wondering if these are connected.

he should have checked the fuses for power to the alt. that may effect other systems. return to him and have him re check his work,

start there.

He checked fuses but had difficulty finding one specifically for alternator. However, of those he checked all fuses were good.

if they worked prior to the repair, press the issue and get him to fix it correctly
