In March I bought a 2004 Infiniti G35x with 60,000 miles on it. The airbag light came on right after i bought it and the dealership said they repaired it. It was off for a little over a month and it came back on again. I took it back and they said it was just an old code reappearing but that they had fixed the censor before and cleared the code. Now it's another month later and the light comes on again. What could be causing this? Is it just an old code reappearing and how can that be fixed? I just find it strange that it's cleared for about a month and then it reappears.

There full of it if they fixed it the light should be off.If the repair was made and the code was reset the code shouldnt come back and the light shouldnt come back on.You need to take it back to them and make them fix it.When the light is on the air bag is turned off because a fault in the system is detected.

Thank you for the quick response. I greatly appreciate it. I figured that was the case. Very annoying to deal with people who try to pull crap like that. The main thing that I thought was odd is that it stays off for a while before it comes back on.
