why would the harmonic balancer be sparking?? changed wires checked ground..blue sparks..its a 2004 when running//////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

It's probably broken and rubbing on something.

The balancer is 2 pieces joined by rubber. When the rubber deteriorates the outer pulley can slide to one side and rub on something. It may even be rubbing on wires but the pulley itself has nothing electrical.
