2004 Hyundai Santa Fe Engine heating too much

The exuast was blocked by the catalytic convertor. This increased fuel consumption.after removing the catalytic convertor white smoke is seen coming out of the head(even in dip stick hole). Still when Engine heats up the fuel guage malfunctions.

Check fuel injectors and check fuel pressure regulator

Try sea foam run it through the system.
