I have a 2004 Hyundai Elantra stick shift and it won't go past 40mph without revving. The rpms go up past 4. We just changed the spark plugs and that didn't work. What else could it be?

If the check engine light is on, have the computer scanned. Most parts stores will do it for free. If there is no light, check fuel pump pressure to make sure the engine is getting what it needs. There are directions in the DIY section on our homepage.
