The heater makes a gurgling type sound when adjusting the temp range. What would cause this sound?

It only makes this sound when the temp nob is in the half way position. if I move it to the left or right it goes away. How would I fix the blend door motor?

if it is the issue, it is under the dash attached to the heater case.

dont throw anything in the way of parts at it till someone confirms the noise.

How would I confirm the noise? Its just me and my girlfriend. Should I get under the dash and have her move the control knob?
Thanks for your help.
