My car has developed a chirp in the cabin. It is from a speaker. I had a tech who thought it might be the fan belt, but it's not the squeal that a belt makes. Sometimes it's just one or two, today it sometimes was a whole string of them. It's not a continuous thing. It might be several minutes between the group of chirps. I think it's some kind of an error notification. I just changed the plugs and boots. It was chirping before the repairs, and after the engine check light was cleared, it still does it.

Turn the radio off to observe if the noise still occurs. If it does not, the cause most likely lies within the radio. Many of them produce a chirp or tone when a tone, balance, or fader control has reached the end of its range. This only applies to electronic push button controls, not knobs you physically turn. The additional clue is the tone is usually only heard in the left front speaker next to the driver.
