P0134 code

It's giving a P0134 code which is for a/f sensor 1. I understand this to be the upstream or before the CC sensor. The price for one is around $170. How can I check this sensor before spending the money blindly on a new one. Thanks.

Check A/F is it loose if yes replace if no reset ECM pull #6 fuse see diagram replace fuse run engine at 3000rpms till warm if P0134 resets replace A/F sensor

Hello,

This happens when there is a engine misfire can you tell me how the engine is running have you has a tune up if not this guide will help.
