2004 Honda Civic Temp Gauge Randomly Heater Blows Cold Car Overheating Will

My temp gauge randomly goes up and the heater blows cold. The car isn't overheating but the gauge will go into the red. I have had the coolant system checked and the waterpump replaced. What else could it be?

Check if the thermostat is sticking and also try bleeding the cooling system-
