I have a Honda accord 2004 2.2cdti tourer, it shakes/vibrates vigorously between 50 and 60mph. I have had the wheels balanced, swapped the fronts to the back, replaced a worn o/s driveshaft (used) and replaced a worn lower wishbone n/s but the problem still persists any help please.

Check for broken or deteriorated engine mounts that let one end of the engine sag. That will change the angle of the half shafts and could cause the shaft to hit the outer edge of the inner cv joint housing.

The faster you accelerate through 50-60 the harder the car shakes any gear 3rd 4th 5th. If you ease up or take it out of gear it goes, it can also be felt at lower speeds but a lot softer.

The inner joint axles could be worn, have your mechanic check the inner axles.
