My 2004 Accord has a noise issue. On starting the car on a cold morning (below 50 degrees), the engine will make a whining noise that increases on acceleration and turning. Once the engine heats up the noise disappears. The noise will only occur on the first start up of the day. My Honda dealer cannot find the cause and has suggested I leave the car with them overnight.

I live in Florida and we don't have many cold nights and so this issue doesn't always occur. I only have one car and can't leave it at the dealer indefinitely.

Any ideas on where to go with this?

Thanks !
