my car a honda accord sedan 2004 3.0 v6 engine is showing malfunction indicator lamp, which from the car manual indicates that the engine emission control system is bad, am in a local vilage in nigeria west africa where the repair methods is crude and the local mechanics are not able to diagonise the fault but as a computer literate i decided to check online and find out what the emission control sytems are and what do i need to replace inorder for my car to run smoothly

Sometimes the light comes on because the gas cap was left loose when you filled up. If there is no sign of poor performance, double check that the cap is tight (clicks at least 3 times).

the fuel cap is ok, because of this problem my car engine is not raising and the car can't even move because the firing is low and not smooth
