Hey I have a 04 vz sv6 and have a transmission problem, it will go into gear and last only about 1 minute then it will rev but not move, if I take the leads off the battery and put them back on again it will then again drive for about a minute before losing power and just reving and not picking up speed, what could cause this? Thank you and hopefully you can help me

Check that the oil is not burnt, if it is dark in colour and smells burnt, things are not looking real good, you can also get the transmission scanned for electrical faults, this would be the best place to start looking for problems.
