Vehicle listed above is a limited with towing package. There have been times when I have been towing a cargo trailer on a long uphill grade within the approved weight limit, and my AT oil overheat warning light goes on. I have to pull over and wait for it to go out and then do that every couple of miles.

Is there anything else I can do to cool my AT oil so I don't risk damaging the transmission?

Good morning,

I would change the fluid and filter to start to get rid of the overheated fluid.

A common issue is a clogged cooler. If it is not circulating the fluid correctly, it will heat up the fluid. I would consider replacing the cooler. I listed the part for you below.
