Have a 2004 GMC Yukon. When accelerating from a stop, sometimes there is a pause (no power) of about 1-2 sec. when it should be going 1st to 2nd gear. Dealer said the transmission is fine, but not sure what is causing this power interruption at low gear. Doesn't occur at any other time.

Has the check engine light come on? Has the fuel pressure been checked?

Engine light does NOT come on. Fuel pressure is OK. Did have the transmission fluid changed, without any improvement.

If that is the case, start by checking for vacuum leaks.
