wiper won't shut off

I've done a little research on this and it appears to be a common problem. I would like a detailed answer to what part I need and where to get started, and finished.

Usually when that happens its a bad logic board on the wiper motor.You would repalce the wiper motor assembly.Do you have a multimeter to do some testing?

No I don't but I could get one. Where do I get started do I have to take the wiper motor assembly apart?

You dont have to take apart the motor just follow the trouble tree.
