Fluid question what is the correct number of quarts of trans. Fluid to add when the trans pan has been drained. Also does the fluid in the torque converter ever come out when changing the fluid? 6.0 gas 2500 had 4wd

There is no answer to that question because it is a partial drain of only about a third of the total capacity of trans fluid. It's usually in the 4 to 5 quart range. Add 3 and check it. I really don't recommend changing the fluid that way. I would recommend using a fluid exchanger machine that will replace ALL of the fluid.
