Have there been any recalls for the 2004 Ford Taurus because of transmission problems?

It seems like there are hundreds of complaints about transmission going up around 100,000 miles for this model, but nothing has been done about this.

100K isn't too bad. You're lucky it hasn't happened sooner. Most people do little or no service to thier transmissions, which helps them fail sooner. A recall wouldn't really be in order here. Sorry.

I have been to the wreckers many times and the taurus car from 2000 and up has no problem putting 375 000 kms on these cars. They have good trannys unless you drive it like a dragster every day
